Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros

Lawyer by trade, Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros founded the European Professional Football Leagues, led it for nearly a decade, and spent two decades as CEO of the World League Association, shaping professional football in Portugal and abroad. In 2014, he left both bodies to create ICSS Europe (now ICSS Insight), serving as CEO until July 2018. He then became full-time CEO of SIGA, the largest independent, neutral, multi-stakeholder global sports integrity alliance. A former FIFA Club Football Committee and UEFA Professional Football Strategic Council member, Emanuel also serves on the EU Expert Group, CAS, WEF/PACI Advisory Committee, and the OECD Task Force on Countering Illicit Trade.
